Me: "PBJ, carrots, and macaroni."
E: "With juice?"
Me: "Milk."
E: "What are we doing today?"
Me: "I thought we could go to the pool in a bit."
E: "Sounds good. Then what?"
Me: "Then we need to go to the store."
E: "For what?"
Me: "Snacks. For the fireworks tonight."
E: "Ok. Who are we going to see the fireworks with?"
Me: "Papa, Grandma, your cousins..."
E: "Ok. We should pack juice for them, too."
Me: "Will do."
E: "Anything else?"
Me: "That's it. Busy day."
E: "I'm going to go play for a bit. Let me know when you're ready to start all this stuff."
